Ideas are fragile. They’re forgettable. They can come to you at any given moment, and they can disappear just as fast. How often do you think about an idea that you forgot. It happens quite often to me. A fleeting moment of a visual concept, or a new way to do something, a new way to solve an existing problem. Only to be forgotten when I try to think back on what that was…
You have to make the idea as soon as possible. You don’t have to finish it, but you need to get it to a point where you can show it to someone and explain it with a few words. Whether it’s a sketch or a quick mock up, an idea needs to be come real. Important ideas deserve that.
This series of content is a small experiment. I pledged to create a piece of content on my site for the next 365 days. You can read the opening post here. The posts aren’t limited to thoughts or ideas, they’re really just a way for me to create original content. If you got any feedback/questions, please reach out. Thanks for looking.
